Nok Air is spreading the wings further to China by launching new regular services to two fast-emerging Chinese cities.
The SET-listed airline will start serving Nanning and Zhengzhou separately from Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport on March 1 with four flights a week each on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
The launch represents Nok Air’s move to strengthen its coverage over China where it began to serve on a charter basis three years ago.
“Nanning and Zhengzhou are major additions to our growing Chinese network and offering significant traffic potential,’’ said Nok Air CEO Mr. Piya Yodmani.
Nok Air’s brand is receiving greater recognition from Chinese travelers and that allows the airline to consolidate its Chinese network, he added.
Today, Nok Air operates frequent flights to 19 Chinese cities from Thai airports on 24 routes.
The routes include Baotou, Changsha, Chengdu, Datong, Fuzhou, Haikou, Hefei, Hohhot, Linyi, Mei Xian, Xi’an, Nanchang, Nantong, Yancheng, Yinchuan, Yichang, and Wuxi.
Last year alone, Nok Air carried over 500,000 Chinese passengers to Thailand, up 54% from 2016.
Bookings on Nok Air’s regular flights to Nanning and Zhengzhou on www.nokair.com start on February 15, 2018 with a one-way fare of THB 3,375 inclusive of taxes and surcharges. The fare also includes hot-meal, drink, premium seat, and 20 kg checked-baggage allowance.
